Depart at Singapore Changi airport for flight via Guwahati to Paro (an elevation of 2280m). On the flight before arrival, you may catch the spectacular view of Himalayas. Upon arrival, warm welcome by Bhutanese representative. After lunch visit Ta Dzong (National Museum Chorten). The National Museum has in its possession over 3,000 works of Bhutanese art, covering more than 1,500 years of Bhutan's cultural heritage. Transfer to Thimphu (around 2hours). Check into Hotel in Thimphu. You may take a leisure stroll around Thimphu city. Overnight in Thimphu.
After breakfast, visits Memorial Chorten, the Stupa is built in 1974 in memory of Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Today it is the landmark of capital city. Kuensel Phodrang (Big Golden Buddha) is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue at height of 169ft. Completed construction on September 25th 2015 in the mountains of Bhutan celebrating their 60th anniversary of fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Changangkha Lhakhang, built in the 12th century on a holy location that was chosen by Lama Pharjo Drukgorn who lived in Ralung in Tibet. Zilukha Nunnery temple, was founded in 1976 by Rikel Jadren, an emanation of Thangthong Gyalpo from Tibet. Tourists have the opportunity to witness what a Bhutanese nunnery looks like and also to interact with the nuns and learn more about the feminine life of Bhutan. Dechen Phodrang Lhakhang, the site of Thimphu's original 12th century Dzong. Pangri Zampa Tara Temple (Mother Goddess) , Tashichho Dzong, Traditional Paper Factory, General Post Office, Handicrafts Stores and more if time permits . Overnight in Thimphu.
Have breakfast and start the journey towards Punakha as early as possible. On a clear day, we can see beautiful views of snow capped highest mountains in Bhutan from Dochula Pass (Alt. 10,000-Feet). At Dochula Pass, we can visit the Bhutan Victory Temple and go around 108 Stupas. Do our prayers, enjoy the scenery and take lots of pictures. Have Lunch on the way at Menchuna Restaurant. After Lunch, drive straight to visit Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Divine Buddha). Those ladies who do not have children and desire to have children must pray in this temple. Check in to Hotel and have a relaxed evening enjoying the beauty of Punakha Valley overlooking rice fields. Overnight in Punakha.
After breakfast, drive up north towards Punakha Valley. Take a short hike through the villages and rice fields up towards Khamsum Yuly Namgyal Temple. This is the one and only Stupa kind of Temple in Bhutan built by Queen Mother. Hike back down to the road head and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. After lunch, visit the most magnificent and largest Dzong in Bhutan. Punakha Dzong built in 1637. It serves as winter palace for Central Monastic Body of Bhutan and administrative centre for Punakha District. We can visit the main temple inside the Dzong. Overnight in Punakha.
After breakfast, we take a drive to Paro. On the way, pass through Dochula Pass. Arrive Paro Check in to Resort and have lunch. After lunch, we will visit the oldest temple, Kichu Lhakhang, Drugyel Dzong (Victory Fortress), Dungtse Lhakhang and look around beautiful Paro Town. Overnight in Paro.
Breakfast will be served in the hotel between 6:30-am to 7-am. After breakfast, we'll drive through Paro town till the base of "Taktsang" Monastery. Today we will hike up to this legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery. Those who wish to take a horse ride, they can do so. The horse ride is allowed only till the View Point, which is half way and it costs USD20 per horse. Your Guide will be happy to assist and book the horse for you. Depending on your fitness, the hike can take between 4 to 8 hours. lunch at the View Point Cafeteria. Return to hotel, refresh and relax with Cultural Dance show by a local group which will be followed by farewell dinner. Overnight in Paro.
After a simple snack breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for flight back to Singapore.
